Everyone has something they love about themselves and a recent photo gallery revealed ways to play up our beautiful assets to make a stunning impression. If your have a nice pair of legs you can opt for platforms over stilettos..platform heels are easier to walk in and will make your legs look more contoured. Shorts are also great for those with nice legs but a less revealing top should be worn to balance over exposure of skin. Tight dresses can accentuate the waistline but if you want the focus on your chest a v-neck option is better. Tube tops and strapless dresses look stunning on those with great arms.
Don’t have a part of you that you love? It may need a little enhancement. Dr. Eisemann offers breast augmentation, nose surgery, and tummy tucks for women who desire to change their appearance. Skin damage can happen year around. Protection is important!
The Houston Chronicle recently published an article about the dangers of the winter sun. Many people who are active outdoors in the winter don’t believe they need sunscreen. Even if outdoors for very short periods it is wise to wear sunscreen daily as done in the summer. The leaves are not on the trees which adds to the suns damaging effect-it is easier for the sun to penetrate the skin. The suns rays cause wrinkles and melanoma which is the most deadly type of skin cancer. Skins often deadly rays can penetrate through clouds and grass so even when it seems cloudy on winter days it is still possible to suffer from sunburn. Our lips also need proptection because the sun can weaken the immune system which brings out cold sores and fever blisters on the lips.
Dr.Eisemann offers skin care treatments and laser treatment for damaged skin in addition to dermal fillers from skin that has already been wrinkled due to sun exposure. With proper care and prevention methods the skin can be healthy and radiant all year round.

Sequins capture more than the imagination
Fashion is the ever-changing vice that many women and men fall prey to with every changing season. This season the trend is sequins. As you might imagine, there are” rules “for wearing sequins. The goal is to look tasteful, not like a neon sign. A local article in the Chronicle pointed out the do’s and don’ts of sequins. It is easy to dress the part if you just remember less…is more.
Dr Eisemann finds that his patients are most frustrated when they can not wear a certain style like sequins. For instance very large outer thighs would be unattractive with a sequined sweater or sweater dress pulled down over them. The sequins illuminates the area. Dr Eisemann advises his patients that if the outer thigh area is bothersome liposuction will allow him to sculpt the area into a shapely more appealing shape. If the breast are small in comparison to the hips this can cause a sequined top to look unbecoming. Also a sagging component to the breast would do the same thing. Dr Eisemann recommends breast enhancement to achieve more full and aesthetically pleasing breast. The sagging component to the breast is usually as a result or pregnancy and or a fluctuation in weight. Dr Eisemann is able to improve this greatly with a breast lift. The best feeling is when a patient can pick her wardrobe selections instead of the wardrobe picking her!

Plastic surgery is not cheating its an enhancement
The holidays are about lots of food, fun, and frolic! It is easy to pack on the pounds, especially at office parties. Mom Houston posted some useful tips for attending office holiday parties and maintaining a stable weight over the holidays. The more discipline a person can muster up the better they will do.
Dr Eisemann advises his patients that holiday weight (often still around in February) doesn’t have to be a part of the patients struggle through the summer. It is important that patients realize that liposuction, while not a weight loss procedure is also not cheating. Some patients feel guilty having liposuction if they believe they can just diet the weight off. Dr Eisemann counsels patients and helps them to understand that the procedure is sculpting not weight loss. Most patients do not actually lose any weight at all. They lose inches . Dr Eisemann advises some patients to consider breast augmentation if their body frame is disproportionate. Some women have hips that look large because their breast are small. A breast augmentation using a proportionate sized implant can compensate for the hips and the woman will appear to have lost weight. While being good about diet and excercise is a requirement to maintain your best health ,plastic surgery can helpacheive your goals when diet and excercise can not.

Trust is about more than a handshake
During the holiday season many people have thoughts of love and peace. A local couple recently had thoughts of betrayal and disappointment. The local news station reported that a trusted employee had stolen over $300,000 from the couple and their business. The key word here- trust.
Dr Eisemann takes the trust of his patients very seriously. He is committed to maintaining a good standing in the community and also among the ASPS board. He maintains continued education on new policies and procedures so that the patients trust is never misplaced. When consulting with patients he is careful to explain procedures like facelifts, abdominoplasty, liposuction, and rhinoplasty in a detailed way that patients can easily understand. Calf and butt implants are very detailed procedures that only a select number of plastic surgeons have mastered. Dr Eisemann consistently has impressive results with low complication rates. Experience is a major factor in building trust. With over 30 years of experience Dr Eisemann has numerous before and after results. He often tells his patients that the mark of a good plastic surgeon is his ability to problem solve because in surgery problems cans arise. Trusting Dr Eisemann and his experience is a logical choice for his patients.

Breast augmentation although a popular procedure is still surgery! Choose wisely
Plastic surgery is indeed surgery. Many times it seems as though a large percentage of the population does not see common procedures like breast augmentation as serious or life threatening. They are almost depicted as a “norm” in society as breast implants have become mainstream with new advances in surgery and financing options. The reality of the situation is that cosmetic surgery should only be performed by a board certified plastic surgeon.
A local houston article wrote about a horrific experience many women encountered in Britian. In total “One Million Dollars was paid out for botched breast operations.” Many women had to have multiple corrective procedures to fix surgeon error. Patients health, safety, and image rely on chosing the correct surgeon for any procedure. Dr. Eisemann is a certified plastic surgeon. He puts patients at ease with his expertise and experience. His quality work can be seen in his amazing before and after photos or read about in his patient testimonials. Dr. Eisemann sincerely cares for each and every patient and does everything in his power to ensure your procedure is safe and yields amazing results.

Dr Eisemann treats men and women differently with beautiful results
A recent Houston Chronicle post reported the finding of a study that women and men respond differently to drugs. This is certainly no surprise to Dr Eisemann who has been treating patients for over thirty years. Men respond differently to medications and require different techniques than women for most plastic surgery procedures. For example a male facelift has different challenges at the neckline than women. The skin tends to be thicker and the beard line should be dissected with a slightly different technique. Gynecomastia (male breast reduction) is not exactly the same as female breast reduction. Dr Eisemann has the expertise to differentiate between fat and breast tissue. This is important not only for aesthetic reasons but also for health reasons. Liposuction is performed on a growing number of men these days. Men usually have a different request for the outcome of liposuction. Often they want the muscles tobe more visible and defined. Men usually are pre-disposed to carry weight in different areas then women. When sculpting the abdomen for men Dr Eisemann is careful to remove most all fat in order to show more muscle definition.Men rarely experience any dimpling after abdomninal liposuction because most likely they have not experiences stretched skin. Dr Eisemann realizes and appreciates the difference between men and women. Every patient is treated as an individual with unique desires and plastic surgery goals.

Prescription drugs are managed in a responsible plastic surgery practice
Painkillers have always been a source of abuse. The government has made many attempts to curb the abuse; however the battle is far from being won. A recent local article reported on a new strategy that includes the FDA s’ involvement.
Dr. Eisemann monitors pain medication not only during surgery in his accredited facility but also during the recovery period. In surgery the primary responsibility for pain management is that of the anesthesiologist. It is important for patients to be truthful concerning any prescription pain killers they may be taking .
Dr. Eisemann desires his patients to be comfortable, yet he reminds patients that plastic surgery is not meant to be pain free. Certain procedures such as breast augmentation (breast implants behind the muscle), abdominoplasty, and liposuction of multiple areas can be moderate to severe pain. He prescribes narcotic pain relievers after surgery and more often than not that is enough to keep the patient comfortable. The doctor encourages patients to eat a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables during recovery while taken prescription drugs to prevent constipation. Dr. Eiseman is committed to his patients and monitoring their plastic surgery experience from surgery to recovery and beyond.

Holiday fashion is most enjoyable when you have many choices
The holidays are meant to be a joyous occasion. For different reasons, sometimes it can cause more stress than joy. Often times women stress over the holiday party outfit. A recent local article attempts to give guidelines to help with the decision. Dr Eisemann and his staff find that often times patients are stressed because Botox, of their bodies and sometimes the look of their skin. Fortunately, Dr Eisemann and staff offer both short and long-term solutions to help patients reach their holiday attire goals. The face and healthy skin is always a good place to start. Dr Eisemann offers a full menu of skin care options including lasers, medical grade skin care and products, and injectables. Injectables include and fillers such as Restylane. The good news is that these procedures typically have little downtime and results in a few days to a week. Of course these options are temporary and will last 3-6 months.
More permanent options such as breast augmentation, liposuction, and abdominoplasty are solutions that need to be well thought out and allow time for recovery before the patient is socially acceptable. With only a few weeks before the holidays these procedures are not recommended if the goal is to be healed and socially acceptable in only three weeks. Dr Eisemann and staff recommend that patients make their appointments, schedule their surgery and look forward to the results after the holidays. The surgical results will be visible for a lifetime.

A positive attitude is the best medicine for plastic surgery recovery
In a world of doom and gloom news it is nice to see news about optimism. A recent news report had tips on remaining optimistic in adversity. These tips are helpful in life in general including plastic surgery recovery. Dr Eisemann believes that a patients attitude is very important throughout the plastic surgery experience.Initially during the consultation it is not unusual for the patient to be nervous. While being nervous is expected Dr Eisemann finds that patients with a positive attitude and open mind tend to retain more information than patients that seek a consultation with a gloom and doom attitude. While patients should have realistic expectations they should expect a a good outcome. From breast augmentation to facelifts to rhinoplasty every procedure has unique benefits and limitations. It is in the best interest of the patient to not only adopt a positive attitude for themselves but also to surround themselves with only positive people. This is especially important during the plastic surgery recovery process.
Dr Eisemann and his staff are committed to a practice with positive attitudes and great relationships with patients.
