AGES is a not only a measure of time but an acronym for Advanced Glycation and Products which are known to literally age your aerties. A recent local article revealed that AGES are due to high temperature cooking of many of the common foods we eat. Most people are eating three times more AGES daily than their bodies can healthily support. AGES add crunch and flavor to our common choices of snacks, fries, and fast foods. There are many diseases that can arise from these negative health patterns. The article suggest making some substitutions this year. Almond butter and avocado are healthier than using common cheese or regular butter. Any plant based fats will be better for our bodies such as olive and conola oil. We should also strive to eat oatmeal in the morning rather than crunchy, sweet cereal.
